18% –> We don’t segment. All our emails are broadcast and/or triggered.
52% –> We do basic segmentation (demographic, geographic, etc.).
30% –> We do advanced segmentation (behavioral, etc.).

This actually falls in line fairly accurately with the Alterian study recently published [1]. Although the alterian segments showed higher intermediate marketing levels:
