Do you know the key email and data protection regulations across the world?
The eec is excited to announce our newly launched web-based version of the Guide. You can access key email and data protection regulations across 77 different jurisdictions. This guide will offer a primer for organizations as they consider this important and increasingly complex area of email compliance.
More than ever it is crucial that data-driven organizations address the risks and legal responsibilities in relation to their digital marketing practices. The legislative landscape is ever growing, changing, and impactful as we continue to witness a period of unprecedented enforcement in the development of privacy and data protection regulations around the world. For the marketer, it’s no longer about a completely domestic effort, but the impact of your message on a global scale.
The eec Global Email Marketing Compliance Guide provides marketers with a comprehensive resource covering requirements in the areas of consent, opt-out, commercial content and factual email content. Marketers can select a country or jurisdiction from a drop-down menu, or click on the world map to learn more about its anti-spam and data protection regulations or laws. The Guide will be updated periodically to reflect on-going changes in the global email marketing regulatory landscape.
